Murphy Rebel dies
Sad news emerged from Philip Mc Mahon's stud this week that the great Murphy Rebel is dead. Born 1976 by Rebel Wind out of the great mare Muffy he died peacefully at the ripe old age of 35. We at Loguestown are great fans of him and all of Philip's stallions and use them extensively. Our mare Loguestown Misty Morn (now sold) is daughter of his, out of the Ormond Oliver mare Mystery Tour unfortunately she also died this week. What a loss Murphy will be to to the Connemara family but his genes are well represented all over the world. We express our sympathy to Philip and his family at this time.Tagged horses
