Poppy and Petra at NPS Championship show
Petra and Poppy teamed up at the NPS show held at Knockagh. First off was the mixed M&M classes,always difficult for us, Poppy was third and Petra was second in their respective classes.Then came the Connemara classes with both winning their classes,and Poppy under Lynseys guidance was judged Champion with Petra taking the Reserve. This was a great achievement and another step in the learning process for Petra and her ring craft.Poppy had a quick change of tack, a bit of warming up and into her first ever ridden showing class. It was hard work for both Lynsey and Poppy but her show improved so much from first to second class. The result was the same though, 5th in both and we were so pleased at the way she reacted in a big open area with lots going on around her.
Yet another change of tack and it was off to the Overall In Hand Championship for Poppy. She went superbly and was awarded Reserve Supreme Overall In Hand Champion. Another great day for which we are so thankful, well done team.
