Poppy qualifies for Ponies UK

Today was the NPS show in Greenacres County Donegal, somewhere different for us. Poppy was now being aimed for Dublin and we needed a few more miles on the clock! It was a well organised show and we had a good day. Poppy won both the in hand and ridden (>16) Connemara classes followed by the ridden Championship. She was second in the mixed M&M NPS (area 32) which qualified her for Ponies UK Ridden Championships and Kingsford M&M Ridden Pony of the Year.
We then turned our attention to the Working Hunters where again Poppy won the Open Working Hunter class and then the Working Hunter Championship.
It had been a busy day and would reflect the pressure and work load required for Dublin and she came through with flying colours.

I have only started to learn how to break horses in riding and get help from Fiona and others with more experience, when needed. So far all our ponies have been successful under saddle and we hope this continues in the future.
