Poppy and Ciara have a good day at Portadown festi

Ponies from all over Ireland assembled in Portadown for the Country Comes To Town Festival. Poppy was first up in the strong yearling class full of show winners. She took a while to settle down to her work but after a great walk and trot she was pulled in first and held her place to the end of the class. This was a great result and she was commended by the judge. Next up was the youngstock class for 1,2 & 3 yearolds this time Poppy settled quickly and was beaten into 2nd place by a multi show winner. This was a great result in such good company and a fitting conclusion to a good show season.
Ciara not to be out done was second in the young handlers class with Lynsey and a creditable third place in a very strong class of mares. We were over the moon with this result in such a class group of mares.
