Season ends

Lynsey has now returned to University and so the season ends at Loguestown Connemaras.
Thank you Lynsey for all the work, patience and skill you have shown, the ponies responded so well to your approach. It has been a great season and a very busy one for Lynsey ably assisted by Fiona and Ryan.

The ponies will all now go to the rough ground some until Christmas and the rest until the spring to relax, mature and of course get fat!!

Marty and Petra have been broken and ridden and we look forward to next season when they will continue their performance education and compete at shows.

Vanessa has developed into a great little pony and has exceeded all expectations.

Poppy and Vanessa did us proud by winning in Showing, Show jumping and Working Hunter classes throughout the season.

Even Pearl managed to get into the act by being second in a show class at Portadown, her first show in 4 years. She is in foal so we hope all goes well.

Poppy was the star of the yard and we are excited about her prospects for next season in both ridden and working hunter classes at the major shows.

I have only started to learn how to break horses in riding and get help from Fiona and others with more experience, when needed. So far all our ponies have been successful under saddle and we hope this continues in the future.
